Straight Outta LA

The Straight Outta LA Film was about the Oakland Raiders and how they impacted the city of Los Angeles. In The 80's you had gangs, Hip hop and then of course the The LA Raiders. The Oakland Raiders soon transfered to La to play in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. It had Such a huge impact on the City that it created a new enviorment for the Team and the Raider's Fans. Ice Cub and Snoop dog were the narrators of the story and both described what it was like growing up in LA duiring this time. They both had a passion for their team. It was like if you wore Black and Silver you were representing for that city and for your self. Also the music senstation " rap " was growing and ice was Part of that growth in LA. He was soon in group Called NWA and feautured a hit song " straight outta Compton", describing how rough it really is in LA. The Black and Silver was the color of the 80's. It meant that you were nasty, tough and really just all a round hard nosed team. Every body wanted to be black and silver, some teams even tried it out. I really didn't know that all this happend and it was influential to the city of LA. I really liked the video and I hope in the future there are more like it.
