The first internship I choose was the logistics Assistant internship for the "Georgia Games" where I would be responsible for supplying all Sports Venues and Support Services Staff with awards, T-shirts, drink products, signage, sports supplies and equipment, and Georgia Games property to support the annual competitions. The second internship I chose was the Game operations internship for the Atlanta Hawks. I would a
ssist with creating and packaging entertainment content for Hawks and Thrashers in-game promotions, contests and video vignettes. Update music and movie clip library, book anthem singers, learn and participate in the technical positions on game nights, manage give-away merchandise for games, assist in script writing and progress to write scripts for games, learn to stage manage and coordinate dance team, ice squad and interactive teams. The third internship I chose was the Augusta GreenJackets College Internship Program for the Augusta GreenJackets baseball team. I would, assist the Box Office Manager with daily tasks using the TicketReturn ticketing software. Assist with the distribution of season seat and group tickets. Assist with marketing projects using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign software. Provide support with events run at Lake Olmstead Stadium during the spring. Manage and run "The Hive," the merchandise store throughout the season. Provide support to the Food & Beverage, Stadium Operations and Ticket Sales Manager. The fourth internship I chose was the Turner Sports Public Relations internship as an Turner Sports PR intern I will have a hands on role with department initiatives and daily responsibilities including, maintaining the department press site, compiling media databases, creating master planning calendars, compiling daily press clippings, writing media advisories, and maintaining the department publications library. Lastly the fifth internship I chose was the Management Trainee Program for Team Velocity where I would travel to key events to provide logistical support to account teams monitor event reports for quality, accuracy and timelines, research event opportunities and activation locations, collect data as requested for client needs and new business initiatives, compile reports and develop databases, track program budgets and expenses, become knowledgeable of client business and stay current with industry trends, and participate in creative brainstorming.
